Delta is a city in Keokuk County, Iowa, United States. The population was 410 at the 2000 census.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 410 people, 172 households, and 99 families residing in the city. The population density was 410.6 people per square mile (158.3/km²). There were 191 housing units at an average density of 191.3 per square mile (73.7/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 98.29% White, 1.22% from other races, and 0.49% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.71% of the population.
There were 172 households out of which 26.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 43.6% were married couples living together, 7.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 42.4% were non-families. 35.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 19.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.38 and the average family size was 3.09.
